If you are serious about purchasing a new KTM, now is definitely the time to do it.
Most any Dealer with unsold new inventory is likely to offer an excellent deal right now, and would also probably happily hold the bike in storage for you until you retrieve it (or ship it) in Spring. The key, in my experience, is to actually engage them in a serious negotiation. In my most recent case, I was in conversations with a number of Dealers, once I identified the bike I wanted to purchase. Once they understood that I was a legitimate Customer who was definitely going to purchase from the lowest bidder, it was amazing how much the prices came down from what was advertised. And my $306 air fare was a small fraction of my savings. Plus, the beauty of a “Fly and Buy” is you get to go for an extended ride on your new purchase to boot. ;)

They have a lot of different lines, two levels - great spot to walk through.

    Congratulations!
That will be quite the rocket compared to what you are accustomed to!
