I bought this yesterday....2009 Yamaha TMax 500. Now, before people think that I am a raving lunatic, there is "some" method to my madness.
As some might remember, I sold my truck a couple months back. Hardy used it, couldn't justify it, and got offered a ridiculously good deal on selling it in the current market.
I have been toying with the idea of a scooter for a while for commuting/errand running purposes, great gas mileage and fun. And then this came up. 1 owner, 20,000 kms and in pretty good shape. It's been dropped a few times, and has the scars to prove it, but all cosmetic and its well maintained. All for less than the price of what many I know spend in fuel alone over a few months.
This is the only Tmax 500 on the island to my knowledge, and they are really not popular here or in North America period. These things are everywhere in just about every city in Europe and are amazingly practical (automatic, fuel injected, belt drive) and will beat almost anything away from the lights. Hoping the lack of interest has been my gain!
