My Triumph Trophy SE has found a new Owner in Arizona.
I accumulated 46,000 miles in 41 months on it, and found it to be an excellent Sport Tourer, but for some reason values seem to tank once a motorcycle has over 50k miles, so I decided to move on while I could still recoup most of my purchase price. I would say that the only negative about it was dealing with it's 685 lb. weight, especially when loaded up with gear for a long trip.IMG_20210825_163139066.jpg

There were 34 other Trophies for sale on Cycle Trader at the time I took out my Ad, so I had plenty of competition, but I priced it aggressively, and sold it in less than two weeks to the third person that had expressed interest. It's pretty clear to me that Sport Tourers aren't selling like they used to! I purchased it as a new 3 year old model in October of 2018 for a phenomenal price of $11,250 (MSRP $19,950), and added almost $2k worth of accessories, a number of which I removed to either sell outright, or use on my next motorcycle. All told, I netted $6,920 for the Trophy, and saved $500 worth of accessories for later use. In my mind, I got every penny's worth out of my $5,500 investment over those 41 months.

Now that the Trophy is gone, I will stick with the two bikes I currently own for the foreseeable future. I've only accumulated a little over 10,000 miles on my GSA in the first year of Ownership, which is a low number for me, so it's time for real use for that excellent bike.
