I am thinking of parting with my Touratech ZEGA panniers that I had on my R1150GS. I originally wanted to try and modify them to fit the new bike, but reconsidering this option....looking at using this money to go towards a new set of panniers.
I don't want this thread to be of "how about this brand or that brand pannier". I already have a set in mind that will suit my purposes.
Problem is...nothing is cheap out there...minimum of $1500 for crappy plastic ones (which I am not getting). Even the BMW Vario cases are plastic and problematic offroad without modifying the mounts and they are probably the least expensive option (approx $1500)
I will throw in the mounts that were fabricated for the R1150GS, maybe you can modify them to fit your bike. I have the interior lined with the corragateed "for sale" signs...lol, to keep things banging against the aluminum and turning black.
