Who's going out tomorrow for the elusive Moose?
My 16 year old son Gavin's first time.
Too hot. Waiting for October.
2degrees this morning. Beauty.
Never seen a thing...
I'm not convinced that there are any more moose left on the island. (just kidding)
In my 10 day recent riding/camping trip, I covered most of Newfoundland (~5800 km on the Rock) from the top of the Northern Peninsula to Cape Race and never saw any.
In other trips, I have seen dozens - especially around St. Anthony airport!!

I saw a bear as well, a couple of caribou, a million squirrels and a variety of birds. Oh, and a couple of whales off Twillingate but not exactly from the road.
