It's a great series. Hope the finale will wrap everything up nicely like Breaking Bad did.

Last week was pretty dramatic, can't imagine what is in store for the finale.

saw the finale the other night. I won't spoil it for anyone who hasn't seen it. It tied things up pretty well as far as I'm concerned. Great series

They really went out on top. If you haven't started watching this series, do yourself a favour when the set is out on DVD, or Netflix, and get started.

I agree. If you haven't watched the series yet, it would make an excellent way to pass the time over the winter!

Everyone here at work watches it so I gave the first episode a try but just couldn't get into it. Glad you guys enjoyed it though, nice when you find a series you like. I follow a few others.

I have never watched but it sounds like I should start from the beginning?

Everybody likes different shows, but I think you'd need to at least give it a couple of shows.

    nope, no SOA fan here.
Could never get in to the "biker" or "gang" thing.
But, that is why there is such a variety of shows on TV, there is something for everyone. :)

Definitely. The later years have an involved plot, and character development is essential to your attachment or distaste for characters.

It may not be to your taste. On the other hand, a lot of shows need time to grow: SOA, Breaking Bad, Game of Thrones, and Sopranos, for example, were all slow to develop. Maybe that's a good sign, think about how popular Lost, and Prison Break were initially.

True. I'm hooked on Game of Thrones too. But during the first show, when I saw the white walkers, I was like WTF!!?? But I love this show!

Totally agree. Not knocking SOA at all, just didn't seem like it was my kind of show. I love GOT and Breaking Bad was awesome. One of my favourites is The Wire, worth checking out. Lot of great shows on TV these days.

Im not knocking anyone who likes the show. I just know I dont. Myself and the Misses watched most of season 2 and 3 in a bid to understand the attraction.....that was enough thank you and dont get it..

Im also fascinated by the diverse audience. I know a bunch of posers who ooohh and aaahh over it....but then they never take their chaps, vests and Harley shirts (even tho they dont own Harleys) off. Maybe they want to be like think they are them!

I also know a bunch of professional office admin types (male and female) who watch faithfully. Maybe they want to be like them and burst the chains of 9 to 5 office work and go join a bad ass gang and tell the man to shove it!

    Each to his own....

Best show to ever air on TV.

Just FTR, liking a show doesn't mean you want to be the main characters. For example, the 2003 remake of Battlestar Galactica was exceptional, but that doesn't mean I want to be a space refugee running from robots and coping with a liquor shortage. Who'd want to be in a liquor shortage?! haha

This seems to always come up with SOA.

Having never seen it I can not comment on it but these days there are few TV shows that appeal to me. I assume it is on a channel that I do not receive.
Gratuitous violence trailers and criminal elements that are all to common on the news are not making it appealing to go out of my way to find it.

I wouldn't have the attention span to sit in front of the TV that long.
