So it seems like 'shipping delay' is a common thing now with online shopping. I checked out several items on FortNine, and items usually say "ships same day." And now it's common to see "ships within 5-6 days."
I also ordered from Amazon eariler this week. I get an email notification saying that my item is shipped and with a tracking number. And then about 60 mins later I get another email saying that my package has a shipping delay and "may arrive later than originally expected." Last month I ordered from amazon, and the tracking number said it would arrive in a week. And after the week was up, no one could tell me where it was. To my door it took almost three weeks.
I've also heard many items are "not in stock" or on backorder.
