With the Port aux Port it was back to pick up Red Indian Lake where we left off.
Found the right place to zig and Knew we were on the right track.

Pretty big bridge. Oh ya....we don't read signs no good........duh
Seeing we are stopped....on the bridge.
But truck traffic aint what it used to be.

At that point we continue with the quest.
The roads were made up of red clay. When wet it is friggen treacherous. I didnt get any pics because I was fighten the rutts and the slipping and the sliding and beat to bejeesuz.
Both my self and Digger had several opportunities to wipe out but kept the bikes upright.
I was glad to see Millertown at that point.
It was getting late so off to Buchan's for food and lodging for the night.

Next morning, we scooted up the Buchan's highway to find a cabin road that ties into the Trail'way.
Next stop The Gaff Topsail's.

We just got going when Digger's back rack gets a floppen. Seems the bolts for the package tray backed off causing the larger bolts on the side to back off. The only thing that saved them was the saddle bags kept them from dropping out all together. Plus one of the top bolts cracked off completely.

No worries, I took a few allen key inserts in the toolbag. A couple of minutes and we were on our way.

Here are some pics of the run.

The Gaff run was ok. The grey overcast day with low fog didn't help the views. Gonna have to do it again on a sunnier day.

From there, a dash to Grand-falls for the night. We stayed at the Mt. Peyton. Nice place. Steaks at the Steak House were very good. Way to pricey but good.
That morning awoke to another grey drizzly day but it was homeword bound.
Pretty well straight through to C.B.S. with only stops for gas and nature calls.

We figured on a four day with 2 days to give as extra if need be. We used one of those days.
A great road trip all around. It's fine to plan, but just winging it ,with a few things to do in mind, makes for a fun trip.

Next trip?
Maybe a closer look at Burgeo............hmmmmmmm
