I found the old ride report for the run me and Digger did in 2011. Thought I would post it. There are a few photos missing but I will try to fix that. Also it says I can only post 16 pics at a time? What's up wit dat?

Part 1

Ride Report
June 14 to June 18/ 2011

Starting mileage 6600 k

weather
sunny , clear, 14ish

While working out west and being stranded in my "jail cell" I have been pining for a road trip so I figured on the R.I.L. run with a dash throuh the Gaffs.

I ran it past Digger and he responded with, what's a R.I.L.? What's a Gaff?
I said places to go on the bikes. That was good enough for him.

And so it was that we commenced the planning for the road trip.
That consisted of a garage night and a case of beer.
The meeting began with a beer.
We planned on the approximate locations of the target rides (as in, somewhere west of our present locations, thats all we knew.)
Had a beer.
And the day of departure.
Had a beer.
Meeting adjourned....
Finished the beer

Good meeting.

Made a quick pitstop in Whitbourne to adjust air pressure.
Diggers bike had the "wobbles". I had them on last years TLH run. Quite unsettling!
Bike was better, but he was fighting them the whole trip.

Next stop, Clarenville.
Gas and breakfast and gas.
Got a new idea for a thread. Wharf pics. I'm gonna post up a new thread after this r/r is up. But in the mean time here is a wharf pic from a wharf in Clarenville.

We chewed the rag for a bit. Scoped out Dan's Varadero. Very nice. Nice color and lots of goodies. I should have taken a pic but didn't.
Dan's bike does have a lot of goodies but it dont have the Klr Kup Holder!
