I only picked up the Bike (2010 Shadow RS) on Friday past, but already I've had a bit of trouble ... was out Riding Sat. morning & stopped at a corner store not far from home and could not get Bike started ... when key turned on and Bike in neutral, I could hear the "whir" of the EFI checking itself and then a faint clicking ... pressing the starter button though, would not turn over starter motor ... didn't seem to have enough juice. Phoned a pal who came by with a batter box & a boost got it running and I was able to make it home. Put battery on charge and was able to start the Bike several times in my shed the past couple days, but again went for a Ride today and when I got home and shut Bike off I decided to try a re-start as a test, but no-go ... same as before ...
Could this be a bad battery? Have no idea how old it is, or if it is original or not ... Bike is 4 model years old but only 1500kms on it when I bought it tells me that is was mostly laid up not being used ...
Any/all advice appreciated ...
