Motobatt Batteries

    Any know if Motobatt batteries are sold in town anywhere?

    Perfect, thanks! Just looked them up and I didn't realize that Kenmount Road extended all that way into McNamara.

    Picked one up last week for the CB. It had to be ordered in and the guy said they getting scarce because since the pandemic the Chinese motorsport batteries are getting harder to come by so more Motobatt batteries are now being sold. Luckily he found one up in Ontario that he was able to get for me. Impressed with the price too, much cheaper than the prices I saw online for the same battery.

    Batt prices are gone through the roof!
    Bought one for the BRP outlander. $200

    And ride one mower which is larger $80

    Wtf?

    The battery on my FJR isn't what it once was but is still working OK - cranks alright but reserve capacity seems to be low. Hope that is an expense I can avoid for a little longer. Battery is original (2011) and currently just 115,000 km; about a third of that in the last two+ years since I owned it.

    My battery cost $103 before taxes (was around the 125 price point everywhere else online), so roughly half the cost I originally paid for the bike :eek:

    Motobatt has 2yr warranty too.
