Is the Saint Barbe ferry running and can you take it without issues related to coronavirus? Blanc Sablon is technically Quebec and those provincial borders are still closed. I was thinking that for practical purposes, that little bit of Quebec is more related to NL than QC - can't even leave there to go any other part of the province without traveling through NL (except for the coastal QC ferry). I assume the full Translab is effectively blocked at the QC border just past Labrador City. Do you need to self-isolate upon return?
Thank you. Makes perfect sense. If I make a NL trip later this summer, I just wanted to know if that might be on the agenda. Still not sure...
Yep. I figure that things will settle down in a few weeks. Hopefully because of continued excellent performance rather than a resurgence! Unfortunately, there are bound to be setbacks but as long as the authorities react in an appropriate manner, we should get through it!
Two of my riding buddies and I had planned on a three or four day ride around Lake Superior again this year, but it’s starting to look like that’s not going to happen. We might have to settle for a circle of the Upper Peninsula of Michigan instead, which would ultimately be much safer, given current conditions. Given its remote location and small population, they have experienced virtually no cases of the dreaded Virus since the outbreak began.
