Seen at Asda, aka UK Walmart.
I may be here longer than I thought.
You will have to try them all and let us know which ones you like best
I'll do my best, hic.
Ahh Tesco, I knew the place well when I was a poor student in England.
Poor only because most of my cash went to buying Spitfire, well worth a try if you find it around.
Mmmmmmm Spitfire, my favourite
A little reading to go with the beer.
In my mind that selection is a little one sided and not really all that interesting, unless of course you live in Newfoundland.
Anyone here know how this bottle washer works. The black nipples at the end are hard plastic with ball bearings that push up when water pressure applied. Am I missing an attachment? I have twisted the freaking thing every way possible. I put on my first brew in about 15 years. I don't even know where I got this bottle washer.
Turn water pressure on. Then when you depress the nipples water will spray up in the bottles. I have a similar one but it's metal and that's the way mine works anyway.
the nipples do not depress. Should I be writing that here!!!!!! Hope it is not edited by moderator!!!! The nipples are hard plastic. Any pressing, tweeking or turning does not make them squirt!!!! again, should I be writing that here!!! I hope my wife don't read this!!
my new favorite tagline..... RDWHAHB
for those that don't want to use urban dictionary... relax, don't worry, have a home brew!! a new one to me.
That's funny! I've used a couple different kinds and the one I have now is similar to yours but it has two suction cups to hold it to the sink and the nipples are hard plastic also but they squirt when you press the bottle on them. Maybe you aren't pressing on the nipples hard enough?
Maybe need a home brew guru here. Relic do you copy?
Take out your penis finder (magnifying glass) and look for the tiny holes. They should circle the top of the nipple.
this thread is going where it should not!!! I love it. Entertainment on a otherwise dull day.
At your service! I haven't used one like shown. Mine is a single unit that screws directly to tap. But I am 87.532 % sure that they all work the same, ie. Press down to spray.
Is it an old unit? Maybe it needs some TLC.... Or, maybe a BFH!
Relic, I am silly enough to ask... What is BFH?
No TLC needed. Ball bearings work properly, ie they push up to top to prevent water from spraying when water pressure applied. I borrowed a single one like Relic mentioned last night. Pisses me off that I can not figure out how the one in the photo works.
BFH.. found it in urban dictionary.
Yup... that seems to be the answer.
Perhaps while I am enjoying my homebrew.
Well, ya know what they say.... if the BFH can't fix it, then it must be electrical!!
Speaking of home-brew..... my keg is empty. Soon be time to break out the the sack of barley and get ye ol' brew pot fired up.
Found one that looks just like yours: http://cheekypeakbrewery.com.au/index.php/bottles-bottling/product/803-brass-turbo-bottle-washer
According to the ad: "Simply press down to rinse, lift to stop."
That's about all I can help.
