Ferryland RCMP are investigating a motorcycle accident on the Witless Bay Line that has left one young man dead.
The accident happened yesterday. The RCMP are not releasing the name or age of the victim at this time. The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
Elsewhere, Springdale RCMP responded to another motorcycle accident at 10:30 yesterday morning. A lone motorcycle driver lost control of their vehicle in Port Anson. The driver was taken to hospital in Springdale, but was later airlifted to St. John's with serious injuries. That accident also remains under investigation.
