Thanks Mike , on a sabbatical now. Got spit off the DR a few weeks ago , getting my fibula back aligned and feeling better. Cast is gone and starting to use 4 wheels so no complaints.

Hi Murph. My gps topo map shows the only road to that pond comes in from the end of the Terra Nova road 30 miles east of there. I will double check. . . Edit: .... Just looked at the road again on GEarth, seems they have terrain in higher detail all thru that area than it was 2 months ago...

Anyone been down the dirt road from Terra Nova park to Deer Pond ? It looks like they go to a couple beaches on the southwest side of Deer Pond (which is 30 miles due south of Gander). Google earth shows logging roads into the pond about 30 miles from Terra Nova, just wondered how passable they...
