Here's a place for comments that don't fit anywhere else, things you'd like to comment on but not make a thread out of, or related comments from existing threads you'd like to make without hijacking the OP's work.
For example, I've been thinking about buying off warranty vs new bikes. So far six have been new and 12 off warranty. Anyone got comments on their preference for new vs off warranty?
Another example, I trust new bike electronics same as I trust new car electronics, but I really don't need it or want to pay extra for it. All I really want is switchable ABS in a bike that will do sequential 1K days and still do ok on gravel roads. Any comments on a quality twin DS/ADV bike with just switchable ABS?
Other stuff... Neck braces. Ventilated gear. Functional gear you can ride safe and wear hiking, in restaurants, at theatres etc. How much is too much for he average tourist?
Lastly.... Riding vests. I got a new Klim something another. Looks like it holds 3L of beer plus a small child and their favorite stuffies. And a Baloney sammich. Anyone got?
