Supply Chain gone mad

Took my leased truck in for a service this week (servicing part of the package)

Mentioned to the sales guy that I wasn't planning on replacing it with anything when I hand it back in June. This is due to unforeseen lack of use of this one/wife now has a car/working from home more/can manage with one vehicle etc.

Talking about money seems crass, however.... he offered to settle the lease settlement in full and write me a personal cheque for 9k there and then if I handed back the truck now. Keep paying for it for another 5 months (for a vehicle that is really surplus to requirements) and then walk away with nothing, or walk away now, no more payments and 9k in the back pocket? Yup....I handed over the keys yesterday and it's gone.

They are so desperate for recent, used trucks right now that the sticker price on the one I just gave back will be more that the discounted new price in 2019. Nuts...

Now, where can I find studded tyres for the T7? :p
