Has anyone here have experience with ceramic brake pads for a motorcycle? I have used them on automotive with good results.
I recently bought SBS Ceramic front pads for my 1290r. I’ve been chasing an annoying brake issue.
Grabbing at slow speed with oem pads and rotors. Swapped EBC HH pads which solved the issue for a short time. Then warranty replaced the brembo pads AND rotors which solved the issue short term.
Brembo feels that it’s a material transfer issue. Maybe these pads are designed to be used more aggressively. Having said that, they have nothing to do with my issue and said it’s a KTM issue. And KTM is just going to replace with oem every time.
Looking forward to see the results with the ceramic pads.
