    Throwback Thursday.

A beer after a very good ride at Mike's Sky Ranch in Baja in 2017. You drive the bikes through the entrance door and park at the pool, great spot.

    Batteries!!

We work north of Fort Mac and have mostly GM's and Fords, -42 C of temperature seems to be where the cut off is for us. We had almost a week of -43 to -47 this winter and lots of no starts and boosting going on, as soon as we went below -42 and we started every 24 hours we were ok again.

    Go Pro's: need parts

I have the original GoPro Hero and bought new batteries last year on Amazon, I also use the 360 Max - It's a great camera and you can edit it forward, backwards, etc. Bought spare batteries for that on Amazon as well. The old camera takes a max of a 32gb SD card but the 360 max takes big...

    Chain lubber upper

I usually arrived a small can if wd40 on multi day offtoad trips to clean the grit out, when the bike is cleaned I put on some gear oil. The guys we ride with in Baja only use wd40 as they want to flush the sand and not leave a sticky residue

    Batteries!!

That's pretty scientific, I have 5 different tenders and 3 stay with the same machines - it is definately better than removing batteries every year when it gets cold and the kit is always ready toroll, my favorite part. :)

    Throwback Thursday.

Got some nostalgia with Coolhand's FJ1200, here is my old 1984 FJ1100 with a Vance & Hines 4 into 1, sounded great at the time IMO. These days I like them a lot quieter. That bike would pull the front wheel relatively easy and for a long distance and when the Argentia track was open could run...

New Gear - Jacket and Pants

I like armour, I fall and tumble occasionally off road with no ill effects. I heard Ryan open by saying "this may sound like some April Fools joke and it is ..."

    Batteries!!

Since I started using a tender full time instead of pulling batteries for the winter they seem to last a long time. I replaced my 2010 FJR battery in 2017 with another Yuasa, always on a tender and it seems like it is good all the time

    Tars

I have a RallZ front and a TKC rear to start the year this year, last year used MT21/D908 combo twice, mixing is ok Tire choice is about what you want to do with the bike, I prefer the nobbier tires for the T7 because I want it better offroad - that's where I use it the most. Really depends...
