We had a little glimpse of the eclipse in the snowy east end. Not enough to project an image in the ole Tasco. Pretty cool to see the streetlights come on for a minute or two.

99.2% obscured is good enough for me. If we do get clear skies I might break out my old telescope. This is the set up I used to view a partial solar eclipse in Port Aux Basques when I was much much younger....

Yes I think those new wheels are interesting. They are lighter. Keith told me when ordering a 2024 his only stipulation on the model/options he requested was that it have cross-spoked wheels. Probably why he ended up with a Triple Black as that was part of the package on my 2011.

Decent introduction to the new model and features on the Triple Black here from someone who has owned and ridden previous versions of the R1250: Personally I find all these switches and on-screen menus very distracting even in new vehicles.

Agree, I found it really difficult and not fun on my XT250 not to mention my F650GS. TW200 might be the best for 2 wheeled travel.
