VFR with gear driven cams?

My JetBoil came with a French press extra. Used it once and found that it took more water to clean up the mess in the bottom of the pot/container than it did to make the coffee. I use a mesh pour over that can be fiddlesome and a PITA to clean up after as well but because I drink my coffee...
