Hello! I'm coming to the Rock

Yeah, so it was 6,153 miles or 9902 km, 42 days, from New Orleans up to L'anse aux Meadows and back. Lost one pair of sunglasses, and drowned my iPhone, otherwise no problems. Emmett

I rolled off the Blue Puttee a bit hung over as I had been adopted by a tribe of Harley riders from Ottawa shortly after parking at the staging area in N.Sydney. Bob, thanks for the welcome, and your suggestions. Church bake sales and other community events is an especially good suggestion that I had overlooked.

15 Days to Ride - Trip Planning

If you have the opportunity visit the Adirondack Museum if you're in the area. It's near Blue Mountain Lake on the road to Long Lake. Amazing wooden boat collection.

Hello! I'm coming to the Rock

Murph, this was great to read ---> "You can talk to anyone, anywhere. It is perfectly normal to chat with strangers." Same here; I tell everyone coming to New Orleans that we talk to strangers, the stranger the better.... I will follow your advice and "ask anyone in the area [I am] in ... to...
