I would have gone out but for some reason I haven't found yet my 640 won't fire. For the life of me I can't think whould it could be. Waiting for good input from the like minded inmates on ADV.

I might get the 525 out tomorrow to see if I got the clutch figured out.

Screw you Bob! I did get 17 days in skinning the wee hill in Churchill Falls. A couple of nights we were allowed to run the T-bar for just the 2 of us.

Isn’t that a wee bit late for yourself to be out and about these days?

Rain would be nice. At least you don't have to shovel it. (Would wash some of the damn salt off the roads too)
In this area, getting the bike on the road much before St. Patrick's day is a forlorn hope.

Yet another day at -5ºC after a day of +3 and rain for several days in a row. The weather here is totally screwed this year. I wonder if our garlic is going to survive?

I know there is a lot of time for a dump of snow. But I'm pretty sure this mid winter thaw will allow the trails to open up a lot earlier. Usually the ice lingers in the shadows into June. I doubt it will have enough snow to build up a solid base now

Despite being the middle of February with NO SNOW, I still have a feeling that we will get a few snow storms yet. But even so, it will be a short winter, Just 33 days until Spring!

This is the current forecast for Fredericton, NB !!!
Maybe a ride happening next week - pretty unusual (i.e. unprecedented) for this time of year. Hope it rains enough to dissipate the salt.

Actually, the forecasting was off a bit. Tuesday night was (lots of) freezing rain. Temperatures on Wednesday were right around freezing until late morning and slowly made it up to 8 °C by evening. Not only was it insufficient to melt the ice on the side streets but there was enough new salt put down to counter the freezing rain that I wouldn't have gone out even if the temperature was warmer.
Not a chance of getting out in February - hoping for a start by St. Patrick's Day. The Accuweather long-range foreguess (won't call it a forecast) is highly variable and getting worse.
