Bobs bike Lollipop here. We’re headed North.
Day 1: I was nice and clean when I left Vernon, starting to wake up in Prince George after a grand snooze. Nice weather and stuff...

Day2: ‘The Pig’ to Dawson Creek. I killed the test of the flies in BC today so youse will have it ok if you comes this way. Poor old Bob cleaned me off every time we gassed up but he just couldn’t keep ahead of them. We’re at the George Dawson Inn, his buddy Wayne should get here around 7;30 on Suzie the VStrom. Be nice to have another bike to cuddle ip to in the parking lot. The front desk missus gave Bob a special spot for us, they always does that for me if Bob asks. I feels just like family LOL
I stopped at Powder King as Bob is thinking about a road trip there this Winter.
We stopped in Chetwynd so I could admire the international carvings.
And I took the oblig Mile Zero selfie while Bob was talking to some folks.

Weather looks almost as nice an NL right now. Obviously I'm not serious. I don't think we've had one FULL day of sun and warm temperatures yet. Enjoy your trip!

My temp guage topped out at 28.5C RossKean and I noticed Bob drinking more water than usual. The guys are saying todays forcast is cloudy with flies. I needs a pressure wash or a muddy puddle to keep them hornets away LOL

Ya Trash, snd without Mrs Bob this time. Although she’s light as a feather. When they were unpacking Suzie last night I heard them laugh about having too much weight in clothes so they won’t stink each other out. They plan to leave most stuff in Dawson City when they leave for Tuk. They won’t be dharing tents then so stank won’t be sn issue.
Bob says you’re taking one of my distant relatives on a nice road trip.
Looking forward to hearing about that;)

Thanks Wayne, Bob says for me not to say too much about the nice weather as a lot of Inmates here have been doing without...

Day3 Dawson Creek to Fort Nelson. I’m nice and dirty already. Rainstorms and lot of mud from the gas/oil field trucks meant lots of muddy road spray. Shortish day as Wayne and Suzie are pooped from yesterday’s 900 km (?) ride.
Wayne learned that if your card won’t work in the cardlock gas pump you can give someone else cash if they will pump gas for you on their card.
Some cards simply won’t ‘read’ sometimes. No one knows why.
    A few pics from today:
Oblig pics of Mile “0” of the Alaska Hwy; Wayne buying Suzie a nice new gas can; the tempermental cardlock machine; grub job at Timmies; and a hack from India doing a RTW for a worthy cause but her rider wasn’t around for the guys to chat with.
I heard them say they wanted to run up to Dawson and hope for a weather window to ride the Dempster to be back for D2D.
FYI they’ll NEVER out ride me and Suzie.
Also heard them say they’d stop and take a pic of a certain corner that made Bob and Mrs. Bob cal me “the best bike ever” ;)

Is it just me, or is Bob getting a little too much sun?

    Maybe swallowing hallucinogenic bugs? ;)
Wind protection does not appear to be one of Lollipops strong points.

Ha ha! He’s not gonna get too much son today Wayne... bunch of us bikes are held up in Fort Nelson due to heavy rain in the mountains between here and Watson Lake. Tomorrow looks good tho. Scenery is worth waiting another day for. Met this hard riding couple doing some kind of women’s ride:

Thanks for following along Trash. In Bob’s defence I hear he’s actually been straight since The Sixties.
He tries to sing while riding sometimes tho. Yesterday’s earworm was Sympathy For The Devil, the day before that it was Shallow (Lady Gaga). Absolute rubbish to my cultured German taste of course. Thank God for full face helmets!
Nope, Bob likes the wind. He took my windshield off to get ‘clean air’ but Mrs. Bob made him put it back on... I felt so exposed! It’s a girl thang

Day4 Fort Nelson to Watson Lake... Bob and them decided to wait out the rainstorm and had good weather on this part.
Starting too meet lots mor bikes heading North.
Suzie got a rock thru her windshield in a construction zone and they even stopped and took some pics here and there so I got to catch my breath for a change. We stayed at a campground by the Liard River Bridge. A few pics:

Day5 from Liard River to Whitehorse. I finally got to use my new tires a bit as we had a lot of construction zones. Felt pretty good. Lot of wind dust and light rain today. Bob took pity on me and finally pressure washed me (and his pants and boots) when we got to Whitehorse. Lost count of the bears snd Bison we saw, plus a fox in Whitehorse. A few pics:
Edit... Bison vid won’t upload from the cell phone. Maybe later.
