Off the boat at 0800 and a quick stop for fuel/food in Stephenville. Rode a few showers but no hard rain. Another refuel in Bishops falls and straight to home. Around 7700kms for the bike in 3 weeks of travelling and visiting. Lots of days without riding and they seemed to enhance the vacation aspect of the trip. My many thanks to all the RTR members who helped me out on this one.

I had no idea you are so all powerful, Dave! It’s been raining all evening!

All hail Dave! Wait, no hail. Too hard to ride on hail.

Left town this morning in the damp and fog but it cleared up in central. Deer Lake now waiting for an Aussie who rode from Fernie via the Trans lab to have a beer with me. They do like beer.

At the ferry on the NS side... I usually try not to be this early. Tempted to do a mug-up in the parking lot.

All sounds like a lot of fun...I'm working in Winnipeg for the summer..and the weather is crazy." Hotter than a 3 pecker goat "as they say...38 degrees today.. lots of brave souls riding with no helmets...police don't seem to be bothered by it. Mostly large American bikes and a few sporting the colours of ill repute..but I did see one guy on a 1200 GS as well . Even the geese are lying around like drunks..
I was here in 2002 with Murph's brother. Borrowed his bike and took a short trip into North Dakota. the concrete slab highways are tiring at best. Thump thump thump thump for hours.. real slick in the rain too

Got home from work yesterday and when I pulled in the driveway I saw the odometer land on an even number.

    That is an unusual occurrence!
Good to see that you are putting that Yammy to good use!

Went for a spin around the Irish Loop this morning with my latest guest. Ryan is an Aussie on a DR650 doing a RTW trip. We didn't do much stopping as he takes Go-Pro pics/video while riding but enjoyed the nice fallish day.
    Them Aussies do like beer.
