What's the deal with people riding bicycles, and wearing helmets without the straps done up? Do these people just wear them for fashion? Because they will offer zero protection if they are not done up?

And while on the venting topic.....CROSSWALKS. As a pedistrian I was always taught to stop at the crosswalk, look both directions and cross when it is safe to do so. Lately I see people walk up to a crosswalk and not stop, and just keep walking. While they do have the right, they still need to be cautious! The driver could be speeding, texting, effected by drugs/alcohol, etc.

...Goes with the motorcycle rider in t-shirts, shorts and sandals wearing a minimal "beanie" helmet.

We can now include those who don't wear masks in places where social distancing is impossible (although in this instance, they may be killing someone else, not themselves).

I wasn't gonna go there. But okay, here I go. Goldwing riders wearing dress shirts, shorts and sandals. Or scooter riders....I often see office attire and even dresses and high heels. WUWT?

Saw a Wing rider decked in the shorts/sandals thing yesterday with an open face helmet not done up. Why bother?

I gassed up in St. Catherines last week and some guy pulled up the the other pump on his HD and only had a genuine HD leather headwrap on his dome.

My AGV helmet was aging like a banana so it got replaced by a nice Shoei RF-SR this week.

If I may continue.....b'ys if ya smoke, don't be tossing the butts out the window. I was behind a guy on an off ramp yesterday....temps pushing 30* and this guy tosses a butt out the window and it rolls into the ditch.
2020 is bad enough, we don't need a forest fire.

No kidding! Not to mention hitting the guy on the motorcycle behind you!
(That one really pisses me off.)

I hate people who throw shit out the window. I've had a few objects thrown at me on my bicycle over the years.

I love the people on their phones who just walk blindly out into the street.

One good way to vent is by taking ten deep breaths before you do or say anything stupid. Helps control the triggered response in some cases.
