Lorenzo and I headed up to the Bonavista Peninsula this week, and rode from Trinity to Burgoynes Cove, using a combination of the old branch line rail-trail and the woods road network. We connected the trail segment with the woods road network with a short stretch of paved road. Then we rode the whole thing back for the return trip. We were riding plated full-on dirt bikes, but this is an excellent route for any type of dual sport bike, and the woods road segment would be a very enjoyable ride on any kind of big adventure bike. If you had the right kind of tires, you could probably ride the entire route on a big adventure bike. Nothing really extreme or technical to worry about on this ride.
