You know when you start thinking about things... sometimes they happen.

Yikes! Havent been that close on bike.....at night! Few day time encounters but you can see them a lot sooner. Ride safe!

The moose is one of my fears, especially on bike. Glad to see it wasn't a serious ending. I've been using Cyclops LEDs on my bike now for a couple of years and they are worth every penny!!!

When I was shopping for a replacement for my 2015 R1200GSA and found my current ride I knew instantly that my search was over. In addition to the full body wrap paint protection, it had front and rear crash bars, and Clearwater lights (Erica and Darla). https://www.clearwaterlights.com/collections/all-products Probably $1600+ US installed. I now ride in daylight and dark with them fully dimmed. I do get complaints at night so they do get turned off away from the city lights. If I feel threatened, I just flick the hi-beams and ALL the lights go to max bright!

My second favorite light system are the Skene brake/tail lights. http://www.skenelights.com/online-store They are as good at what they do as are the Clearwaters! http://www.webbikeworld.com/lights/skene-p3-brake-lights-review/

    Happy Trails!
