Last year's event was a success in my books. I had great fun and it was really interesting to put faces to the posts.
This year I have had 3 people suggest Lockston Path provincial park already. This is located on the Bonavista peninsula and you only have to read the discovery trail thread to know there is some great riding there both off and on road. Lockston was the runner-up location for 2015 also.
Last year we spent a lot of time deciding both when and where. This year I suggest we avoid re-inventing the wheel so: same weekend, Lockston PP. This year Canada day is on a Friday which makes it MUCH easier for people to attend!
Lockston has a group campsite which I will book at the earliest opportunity. If we have overflow there are lots of other campsites but if the attendance is about the same we should be fine.
Put me down for a firm commitment to some awesome snack food in the evenings. I promise to not smear it all over my bike this time
