    Hi Murph.

Bought it new. Been kicking around the idea of getting something I could ride a bit o dirt with. Just dont find the ST or the Z7RS suitable.
300cc, 2 cylinder, 6 spd, Turd Fly green (obviously)

There is a huge discussion page about them on the ADVRider forum.

Dealer only had one. Looked at a used one in Sydney but the guy took it off the market. Dealer in Mirimachi NB had a lower price but time I factored in travel costs, decided to go with local.

Hope to get some weather to break it in.

Anyone got suggestions on DS tires for Clipper's Versys 300?
Edit: Or similar bike, don't mean to single anyone out...

Heidenau, MotoZ, Shinko, Dunlop..I don't know pick a price point and availability. A pair of Shinko's would be cheap.

Hey Clipper, I forget where you are? Personally I buy all of my tires from Keith at the Toy Box and he's done a great job of finding what I want when I want them as what I run on my 640 are not common tires. He's also good at looking at what options are available depending what you want to run and choosing what will work best. My guess is that fender clearance etc might be an issue but I'm not familiar with your bike. What other farkles are you looking at?

I'm not looking forward to what tires for the 1100S are going to cost when they need replacement.

Looking at gentle cruisers recently... the CB1100EX and Eldorado tire sizes seemed a bit strange at 18" and 16" respectively. They're only underpowered cruisers after all. Anyone know why they couldn't just make the trad 17" sizes work?
