Seems like I can upload from smug mug but the pics are too small. Post up if you got any clues about making pics a bitt bigger in smug mug. Here's what it looks like now ... Vernon BC to Lewiston Idaho May24/17

I've been using SmugMug for over 10 years, I really like it. Are you uploading from it on a browser or from an app? When you copy the link near the end you will see a capital letter for the size, see what you're getting. I typically put all mine up as "large"

Thanks Mike. Just copying the link from smug mug and pasting it here. Everything looks 'thumbnail' size except the vids. All from the same
P&S camera Marilyn was playing around with.
I don't see a url or any sizing options, just what appears here. I'll try again later.
Edit: Just noted the P&S pics show up smaller than I-Phone pics for some reason. Her P&S visa and GoPro vids appear about the same but can't be edited in smug mug... not that I'm there yet. Just discovered an 'embed' option. Lets see what that does...
Vernon BC to Lewiston Idaho May24/17
Edit: Didn't 'embed' for sure.o_O The last five or six slides are short video clips. If you play the whole gallery as a slide show, the vids don't work. If you open the gallery and click from one pic to the the next the vids will play if you click on them. Does uno anyone know how to embed these so they post to the forum here instead of having to go to smug mug to see them?
I'll add one more test just to show that the two P&S camera pics are about half the size of the two I-Phone pics. Anyone know how to make pics from different cameras all the same size?
The vid here is a short section of Hwy 6 between Arrow Lake ferry and Cherryville. Just tooling along with my wife on back... all nice and curvy:D Test Gallery

I just clicked on your gallery, clicked on the photo. I did a simple right-click on the photo, hit copy and pasted it into my reply. Will try the video embed below - it pasted the screenshot but not the vid. When you try to embed a vid, the dialog box says "
You may embed media from the following sites:

Thanks RossKean:) I just logged into smug mug and tried to copy - paste a pic but it's not working for me. I'll try again later and I'm encouraged that what you did worked.
Meanwhile the forum would let me upload two pics below from my laptop same as always. Big one from the I-Phone, little one from the P&S:

    Left-click on the thumbnail.
Left-click on the image to select it.
Right-click on the image and select "copy" from the pop-up menu.
Go to your post and hit Control-V or Right -click and paste to add the image.

I can't seem to use the forum Image tool to post from SmugMug, just the copy-paste.

Some of your pics seem very small and I don't know how to use SmugMug to make them appear larger on the post.

I have found that my (free) Flickr account works very well but I would not entrust it to anything I didn't want to run the risk of disappearing!

Send me a note if you don't have any luck!

In your browser click on the pic you want from the left thumbnails. Below right of the main image you should see a little rectangle icon, the left one of the 4. Click on that and it should show you a size choice. Click the one you want and copy that code. Use that code when you click on the photo icon to post.

Gives me two options...'Tiny' or 'Thumb'.
Thumb looks bigger so here it is: It shows as code here in the 'reply' box, lets see what happens when I 'Post Reply'...
    https://photos.smugmug.com/photos/i-Spx4R5J/0/5b673726/Th/i-Spx4R5J-Th.jpg
Found a command that says 'Embed'... let's see what that does:
    <iframe src="https://www.smugmug.com/frame/slide...e=0&speed=3&transition=fade&transitionSpeed=2" width="800" height="600" frameborder="no" scrolling="no"></iframe>
Edit again... still just giving links to smug mug not posting any pics here. I'll have to look at it again later.

Bob, I don't use SmugMug but it sounds like you should have more sizing options than that. When you uploaded the pictures to SmugMug where they large? When I view your gallery all the pictures are very small.

Regarding posting the pictures here, when you get the URL of the picture from SmugMug like you did, click the 'Image' button ([IMG]looks like a picture of mountains and the sun, to the right of the smiley icon) and paste the URL in the window that pops up, that should do the trick.

Thanks Perry, when I paste the URL into the Image window I get these question marks in the boxes as shown below.

I don't seem to have an option to upsize the pics before I 'choose' them to upload.
This site lets us 'upload a file' directly from our laptops, which is a nice feature for still shots, but it looks like GoPro clips are too large to upload.
If you have the patience to link my smug mug account I've posted a sample of some Alaska trip pics. I also managed to get one short vid to upload. (I don't think it was a GoPro clip as I can't seem to get GoPro to upload to smug mug.
Anyone else get GoPro uploaded to smug mug?
I was scheduled to do a smug mug webinar tutorial but had to cancel.:(
I usually end up with about a hundred short (<90 sec.) GoPro clips and around a thousand photos per ride. I have about four years worth of riding from Anchorage to San Francisco and thought I should start to see if there was anything I could do with some of it during the Winter. I'm just starting now so hopefully I'll have something figured out by next riding season. I'd like to get smug mug working if possible, but if not...
All I need is a host that will let me upload GoPro clips as well as vids and stills from an IPhone 6 and a Point&Shoot camera (Canon Powershot Elph 360) I don't want to have to edit it all into a production before uploading it. That'd be just for me to save stuff 'off site'.
Once it's 'hosted' I'd like to just be able to post some of it here during a ride, i.e., "embed"??? a short video clip or post a normal sized photo directly here, on RTR, in real time, at the end of a day's ride... not months or years later. And of course without having to link you FFs to unedited and wrong sized stuff in my snarled up smug mug account. :(
I've made two five minute DVDs in the past using I-Movie and both took me about a day each... I'm not interested in that... it takes too long to do during a ride. I just want to uplink a short vid or a nice pic directly here at the end of a day's ride.
Meanwhile if you have the patience to copy and paste the link below there's a few Alaska pics for anyone headed that way. Thanks again:)

Thanks Mike, I'm using a MacBook Air, and have a basic $64.00 a year smug mug account. Did you upload any GoPro vids to smug mug? I must be missing a simple step or maybe the basic account only uploads photos but not short videos (usually 20 to 90 sec.)

I do have a few short videos uploaded, been awhile but I don’t remember having any challenges beyond slow upload speeds.

Just to be clear are you trying to upload to ADV from the app or from the browser? When I link from the app it does not work in the photo uploader on this.

That’s a great little video, I definitely want to ride that loop so I might just have to ship my bike to Whitehorse to gain a couple of days on the road.
