Ships stranded by the Japan Tsunami

You folks might recall that I had posted previously about a ship stranded on shore in Japan.. A decision had been made to scrap it after the residents had got sick of looking at it, two years after the event. I wondered if the authorities had followed through with this plan and yes, they finished the job just last month. While searching for news of this I found this amazing gallery of photos of many ships, ferries and boats that had also been stranded. Here's the link:
