My wife and I are flying to YYT (St. John's) in early August. Rather than rent a car to visit her grandmother in Bonavista we thought we might rent or borrow bikes from locals.
Rent: We'll pay something reasonable and cover any damage we cause.
Borrow: We have three bikes near San Francisco. Come play with our bikes to return the favour!
I've been riding since 1997 with one accident in 1998. My wife has been riding since 2004 with no accidents. She rides a BMW F650GS (twin) and I ride a BMW F800GS and BMW R1200GSA.
Thoughts?
