Went to Green Point CG in Gros Morne last Wednesday for my final night camping this year. Video will be edited in a few weeks... still working on the edits of my Ontario trip. Got down to 2 degrees C overnight but I was comfortable.

    Good for you!!
Late (or early) season camping is the biggest reason I can think of for having a tent trailer setup like yours.
Nice to have when it is raining but essential when it gets nasty cold.

Hat’s off to anyone still camping when the low temperature is approaching freezing.
I did plenty of that in my youth, but just can’t get excited about the prospect these days.
No doubt a sign of age catching up with me, but these days to say I am a fair weather camper is an understatement.

My coldest night in tent was 6 degrees and with drizzle. Not fun. On the other hand, I hate camping in tent with temps that are too warm. It's easier to stay warm than to stay cool. For me, I like temps in the mid to high teens for camping AND riding.

Just camping in cooler temperatures isn't too bad if you have decent cold-weather gear (I don't). Even rain/drizzle isn't too bad if you have a decent tarp or similar for shelter - other than sitting in your tent.
Without something like Jim's tent trailer, it is a miserable existence if you are camping en route to somewhere! Having to get up (cold), try to get some breakfast and pack up wet gear to get on the bike to ride all day is awful.

I’ve woken up covered in frost many times.

Looks like a nice cosy setup. Lots of advantages to Fall camping, looking forward to the video.
