Navel gazing

The Rebirth of RTR allows for some navel gazing.

As this site goes forward and Coolhand has indicted that RTR will continue only if the interest is there. Do we try to focus on adventure riding or embrace any and all methods of moving the human body.

When I first logged on to RTR, posts were about Skibum kicking it in Mongolia, Bill beating the rims off his Varadero and Murph riding his KLR year round, slush and all. We went from that to Harley lighthouse pics and scooter milkruns. All good and a place for everything but did RTR lose its edge? Note that the stable includes a cruiser as well as a scooter so my point is not really biased. There was a varied and international membership posted regularly that over time dwindled. Like any craze or fad, adv riding may have peaked and is now receding but I still feel that there is a strong enough presence to merit such a site as Ride The Rock. How do we keep it strong and vibrant?

My opinion is just that, my opinion. Not only does Coolhand own the site, there are those that were here before me and many that have rode farther. Mileage may vary.

You know my view, whats your opinion?
