So, i'm just going to throw this out there. I was recently changing the oil in my 70 four stroke outboard, using a plastic tube and pump, because you cant simply drain the oil from these things, when i realized the plastic tube had come off and was lost in the base of my motor. How do i get it out without an expensive trip to the dealer?
So far I have tried using the suction from a shop vac and hose. I have tried one of those metal three armed grabber things, etc. My next move is to buy one of those small inspection cameras so I can actually find it and maybe then be able to grab it.
Any help would be greatly appreciated, and keep in mind i have to do all of this through the dip stick hole.
