John's Pond, Colinet Arm. Off the Cape Shore Loop

The next time you're on the Cape Shore loop (preferably on K60 or better tires), take the 6km to detour to one of Newfoundland's resettled communities, John's Pond. It is 50/50 of maintained gravel road and maintained gravel trail. The worst is the loose stone used to level some sections. It's not the the best of the best, but worth scratching off your list and a good place to stop to enjoy the lunch you packed.
