Gotta admit that my riding season was really short this year. Had big plans but family events and other obligations really ate into my first retirement summer. I know I'll get a few day rides still in this fall but I am already itching to re-plan a circumnavigation of North America. It's great to already be at one corner. Fingers crossed that I can sell the house and be voluntarily homeless for most of next summer lol. Anyone else got travel plans?

Unlike unlike you Jim, I have accumulated over 27,000 miles so far this year, between the GS and Trophy, a personal record that is still growing, now that I escaped the North Woods last Monday before the snow fell, and made my way back down to Phoenix, Arizona, where my Trophy is now in temporary storage, awaiting my return this Winter.

After purchasing my Trophy last October, I joined the International Triumph Trophy Forum, and have already enjoyed several rides and one Get Together with folks from that Forum. We have a tentative GTG scheduled in Big Bend National Park in Texas for later this Winter, and one in Tennessee for next September.

In addition, a Rocky Mountains Trip with a faithful riding companion is in the planning stages for June, as well as a possible Ozarks Trip in September with another riding buddy.

Needless to say, the 42 years of hard work are really paying off now, although there were times in my working career that I never thought I would make it! :D

I retired in 2016 and average 10K Seasons since then without really trying to or doing any major planning. The numbers tell me I'm doing about the same riding as before I retired.
My bucket list is modest but always included circling North America, so I'd need to plan a bit for that one.
Other than that I've been looking at maps (Milepost, BC Backroads etc.) which include Yellowknife; the Campbell Highway and South and North Canol Roads; Baja; and adding a few more States.
I've always enjoyed riding with other folks but like riding solo as well. I'm a past member of the GWRRA which was great for rider training, group tours etc. May join something local later but not actively looking.
Anyone coming out this way let me know if you need a local contact.
Edit: Cripes, that's starting to sound like a Tinder profile. LOL

I was expecting you to say that you enjoy long walks on the beach. :D

I don’t really have a bucket list but Siberia next year would probably be on it if I did.

You should have been sent to Siberia years ago! :p
