I mentioned this before but in person and not on the forum.
I don't have a lot of time outside of booked vacation this summer. So weekends are really the best I can do. This weekend is looking quite nice with temps neither very hot or cold and little chance of precip. Good riding weather.

I am going to document it for the possibility of the Iron Butt certification in the off chance I manage to get 'er done.
Everyone is invited to do this trip concurrently with me. I won't say "together" because on a trip like this I think everyone needs to ride at their own style. I don't want to feel pressure to keep up with someone or feel obligated to travel at the same speed as anyone either.
Nevertheless it can be arranged to have a few meet ups/photo ops on the way. And we could share some of the documentation/witnesses required for the certification. There is also a safety advantage to having someone else riding the same route as you. So a win for everyone.
Start point is the Goulds Esso/McDonalds at 5 am on Saturday. I have space at my place for an overnighter if needed.
