Several years ago, myself and Andrew hatched a plan to get the Big up here to Alberta. Unfortunately she suffered a failure of a brand new cam chain just before she even got out of the maritimes, and would spend the rest of the trip back to Alberta in a truck. The intent was to get her back on the road last year, but that winter ended up being the FJ1200 project....so here we go.

So ya, the doc, having been freshened up with a new cam chain, valves and so on, decided to snap its brand new chain, and being an interference motor, bent a few valves in the process. Before last years FJ project, i had removed the motor and torn into it to confirm the problem. Then she sat in a corner for the next year.
