I may regret this. Looking to get a learner friendly bike for my son and wife.
Isn’t this learner friendly?
Too tall. Reminds me, I forgot to mention the lowering link.
I've got this for sale. Bought it for da missus but after doing the safety course she has decided not to pursue riding. Flexible on price. She is 5'7" and can get balls of feet down on ground.
Like an inmate on ADV said when I got my 640, he just got used to falling over. I went the same way. On a bike with a 37” seat height and me with a 30” inseam I can get 2 toes on the ground on one side. Not an issue and I have friends shorter than me who ride them too. On something as light as a 250 just giv ‘er.
The wife can’t touch the ground on the WR. My son can. Both seem comfortable on the CB500F or the G310R.
Co-worker has a very lightly used, well taken care of CB500F currently for sale (flexible with price ) - https://www.kijiji.ca/v-sport-bikes...ge/1356573156?enableSearchNavigationFlag=true
Nice! I will put the WR in the buy and sell and kijiji this weekend and keep the 500 in mind. Thanks!
Sold to some young guy from CB.
Whoever got that bike got a well set up adventure bike for sure.
I bought his CB500f today. Needs a little work. New chain, fix the wonky heated grips and adjustments all around. My son can’t wait to ride with me this weekend.
Excellent, great to hear, I'm sure he is going to love it. You got a good deal on a nice bike there. I forgot to mention the chains on these bikes when we chatted, Honda seems to have cheaped out on them and they don't seem to last very long at all. Common complaint. My well maintained chain is ready to be replaced at 20k but it had stiff links well before 10k.
