Professionally painted in BMW Alpine White with custom vinyl motorsport stripes and black pinstriping (can be removed, not clear coated over)

    New Siebenrock “peanut” valve covers.

    New Rizoma handlebars.

New Progressive front suspension (springs and fork oil).

    New grips.

    Secondhand 1987 R80RT right muffler.

    New front wheel bearings

    New handlebar brace.

New front and rear signal lights (have original rear signal lights).

    New rubber fork gaitors.

Rear passenger pegs removed (still have them).

This bike was purchased from Ontario for fun and as a winter modification project. This is a 30 year old machine that is not showroom perfect but it is a unique and enjoyable ride for anyone that appreciates this style of bike. I am into this bike for well over $7,000 and never expected to get my money back. But if this is something that interests you and you think we can come to make a deal then get in touch with me and come have a look. I am located in the east end of St. John’s. Advertised here first. ASKING $4,900

Hi Paul, welcome to Ride the Rock. Come have a look at it and let's discuss. I am at 8 Veitch Crescent off Stavanger Drive. Third left once you pass Princess Auto. I believe you have to actually see this bike in person to assess it's value (or lack thereof).

Good luck with the R1100... it was your R65 that got me interested in this old airhead.

Waiting on a few $$ to come through and then I'll see if he accepts my offer. Looking forward to getting the R65 back after a top to bottom service.

Put a 100kms on this bike yesterday... pretty fun. Come on it in third gear going up the hill out of Portugal Cove toward St. Philips and it makes a wonderful sound over 4000 RPM. I love these boxer engines.

It is a fine looking bike. I ran a '70? R75/5 (white) for 15 years in my well spent, miss spent youth. I'll stick to one bike in the garage though. Hope you find a good home for her.

I tried, he said he has sentimental value, his dad gave it to him. I’ll try again if I get the cash together again.
