Yes my power to weight ratio is off the charts!! HAHAHAHA Rather keep the bike but plating 2 in quebec will kill the travel budget so rather keep one Adventure if it sells...if not I'll keep my new one as a centrepiece and use this 02 still.

I do have it over geared as well so idles with clutch out in first at 13Km/h, not best in tight woods but that's not this bikes forte...Hi speed fire roads though she gobbles right up!

I've only ever owned singles so don't find the vibes bad at all although they are they are there for sure in the feet mostly some in the bars but none really on the seat. I cruise at 111Km/h usually and runs great with plenty of pep left to pass and a rough top speed of 185Km/h when drag racing...

690's nice n all but limited in fuel and EFI can be a problem out in the bush, I was also on the fence for a 690 or another 640...I think my choice was obvious.

It's been for sale in Goose for a little bit now yet NO bites... I guess no one knows what kind of bike lays in front of them and frown at the 50K "dirt bike" HAHAHA The thing still has a 0 on the odo so is BUILT to go over 100K. Thump,Thump,Thump,Thump BRRRAAAAAAAPPP!!!!

Keith...this one is better lol Street legal, KTM no...Gasser 15lbs lighter, 6th gear and 1 degree tighter steering geometry so better in tight stuff. Plus the clutch is feather light due to its trials influence. I was going for a 300EXC until those differences were noted to me!! :o

My 02 KTM 640 Adventure is up for sale as I have another one now. Love this bike so much feels more dialled and peppy than my 06 ADV and runs like a top even with just over 50K on the ODO. Never rebuilt only changed the auto decompressor spring on the exhaust cam 20K ago. No need or want to sell...
