Checking in... I still alive and kicking!

Been a loooooong time. Some of ye fellas/fellettes, (I have no clue of the feminine word for fella) have been kind/weird enough to allow me to be your Facebook friend so you know I'm still upon this big blue orb. For the rest of you who aren't on Facebook or sane enough to not add me as friend, figured I would check in, just in happenstance you were all concerned about me.

Motorcycling has taken back seat, (or pillion for those of the lingo) of my extra curricular activities for last few years. Having changed jobs and now on biweekly shifts, seems like I have less time for it. Wellll... And the fact that we have been into motorhome travelling as soon as weather is fit may be another instigator.

Also got rid of truck 3 years ago, so I only have capability to bring one playtoy to terra nova for July /August camping season. Of course, wife truly detests riding on back of Klx (can you really blame her?) so the SxS is typically our toy of pleasure. Happy wife... Happy life!

Ummm, is it me or does something sound weird about those last statements? Meh.... Just me I guess..

Hope to change my lack of riding somewhat in near future tho. I mentioned to my better half, that I was thinking about putting carrier on the motorhome so I can take the Klx with me. Can't say she was enthusiastic about that. She figured we'd travel about 50 km per day, then I'd pull over on a woods road for rest of day, then gone for a ride.

She's probably right too. (please... No one show her that I put that statement in writing!)

Still, I may try some time... And keep my riding limited. Just to prove her wrong if anything.

Anyhooooo... (do people still use this expression? If I ever break free from listening to my 8 tracks, I may check out the current sayings), a new truck is currently in progress of acquisition. So, I will be dusting cobwebs off the li'l green girl (Klx) if I find her in the nether regions of me shed. Hopeing to get a few more than usual km's in this year than the previous years.

Maybe even get a ride report or two... Who knows. Chances are there may be a few witismic (in your face spell check!) remarks. I still have that ability.

Merry Christmas to all! (Better late than never) :D
