I frequently strap my gym bag onto my passenger seat. Yes, I exercise!!!! My racquetball and squash rackets are too long to put in my side bags or trunk. I use rocket type straps. Problem is... they tear the silver paint off the passenger grab bars. My new to me blue bike has no marks!!! I know that will change quickly, but in the meantime, is there a type of strap that will not tear the paint off the grab bars? This may be a better question for some other forum besides an adventure forum. Perhaps I need to join the harley/ chrome forum!!!!!
