Thanks for the info Wayne. Not looking to do the TLH again. I'll be arriving and departing via PAB. When i went in 2012 is was quite warm. Enough so that no icebergs off St Anthony or Twillingate were to be seen. But is was nice as it seemed most of the RV crowd was long gone.

when u get it running with a new battery check whether its getting charged properly. Take a voltmeter across eth terminals. Should have 14.0-14.5 V when running. Ive had voltage regulators blow on my Honda VFR leading to teh same symptoms you describe.

Agreed. September is best. No flies and no mosquitos. Plus its easier to grab a room for the night if weather turn sour as motels are rarely booked up then. Just take a heated vest for the mornings
